Winter in Rönninge

17 Jan

We had a lot of snow lately, and the day before yesterday I had to go out every hour to shovel snow! Not the funniest stuff you can do, but very necessary indeed. It came about 30 cm on that day, but today it’s just some small flakes falling.

Today I went out and took some pics down by the lake. I also shot a video of the surrounding. I just love how quiet it is, the only thing you can hear is the birds singing.

Thanks! Rönninge is just south of Stockholm. Glad you liked it! Cheers.

Wow, you came here in January. Well, then it’s pretty cold. Better come here by summer next time then. 🙂

You are funny… I lived in Sweden for 4 years… and actually coming from Ireland at the time, was a major change. However those definitive seasons made a great change and I must say I always enjoyed it – especially autumn and winter. The visit to Solna was great, when we drove back it had a lot of snow… which I thought was brilliant, going through Stockholm and nobody on the road… sorry to waffle on… grin

It’s beautiful! It looks just like here in Québec!

I love a snowy winter. But for the moment I’d really start waiting for spring. I saw you have a winter festival in Quebec! Lovely city as well, wish I could visit there someday! 🙂
